Fountain of the Sprone

Is a model at a low scale with perfect proportions, details and chisel of the fountain that the Granduca Cosimo II de’ Medici wanted when he made urbanistic changes on the left side of the Arno river in 1608 for his marriage with Maria Maddalena d’ Austria. It was sculpt in the Buontalenti’s workshop.
