Minerva by Cellini
The Statue of Perseo was ordered to Celliny by Cosimo I de’ Medici and created between 1545 and 1554. For the four niches of the carved marble base, Cellini created four mythological figures related to the Perseo’s myth. One of them is Minerva, that had in her right hand a spear.
