NEW SCULPTURE OF POPE JOHN PAUL II
Piero Bertelli makes, in the Marinelli Foundry, the sculpture of Pope John Paul II recently beatified . The sculptor is creating his work in clay, enlarging, with the help of the pantograph, his wax sketch.

450 YEARS AFTER MICHELANGELO’S DEATH
The Ferdinando Marinelli Artistic Foundry created the model, from which the medal was taken, for the Casa Buonarroti and the Basilica of Santa Croce in Florence, to commemorate the anniversary of the Master’s death.

LUNCH IN THE FOUNDRY
For the inauguration of the exhibition “The Ages of Bronze” in Palazzo Tornabuoni in Florence, a very pleasant lunch of enthusiasts was held in the foundry, in the area of the original moulds.
