(Città di Castello, 1889 – Firenze, 1964)

Born in Città di Castello (Perugia) in 1889 Cappelletti trained in Florence studying sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts, under the guidance of Libero Andreotti.

He worked with the most important sculptors of his time and specialized in the creation of animals and subjects for fountains. From 1939 to 1964 he collaborated with the Ferdinando Marinelli Artistic Foundry as a sculptor and modeler. He died in Florence in 1964.
