DISCOVERED TWO NEW BRONZES BY MICHELANGELO?

The American art historian Victoria Avery of the Fitzwilliam Museum who a few months ago launched the news of having discovered two new sculptures by Michelangelo in bronze (news that has been published in all the world press), on June 22nd will come to visit the Foundry Artistic Ferdinando Marinelli to discuss this discovery. And to see and study the casts of Michelangelo’s 4 figures in the Medici Chapels (Sunrise, Sunset, Day, Night) made by his pupil Danti on the models that Michelangelo had carved in clay and that he used to make the aforementioned marbles.

Dr. Avery will also hold a private lecture on this discovery at the Palazzo Tornabuoni in Florence.
