Fonderia Artistica Ferdinando Marinelli has donated a bust of Verdi to the Los Angeles Opera on the occasion of the bicentenary of the maestro’s birth.
The bust, cast in bronze utilizing the traditional lost-wax technique, is positioned inside the LA Opera Theater and was unveiled on November 9th, the opening night of ‘Falstaff’.
