THE IDENTICAL CHIMERA

The Foundry Marinelli has sponsored the execution of the mould on the Chimera of the Archaeological Museum of Florence, authorized by the Superintendent Andrea Pessina and with the favorable opinion of Dr. Cianferoni, Director of the Museum, to be able to make an “identical” copy that has been placed at the entrance of the Museum.
On October 29, 2012: The “Friends of the Chimera” highlighted, during the presentation of the work, at the Museo Archeologico the “sameness” between the Marinelli posthumous first edition original and the original sculpture.
