THE GILDED DONATELLO’S DAVID AT THE BARGELLO

On 28 November 2008, was exposed to the public, at the Bargello Museum in Florence, Donatello’s David restored. The Director of the Museum, Dr. Paolozzi Strozzi, asked the Marinelli Foundry an identical posthumous first edition original cast with gold plating that had the original one, and that has been lost over the centuries.
