THE ‘NEW’ SAN MATTHEW BY GHIBERTI AT ORSANMICHELE

On 21 September 2007 the inauguration of the Original Posthumous casting of Ferdinando Marinelli Artistic Foundry’s St. Matthew by Ghiberti was accompanied by a spectacular costume party organized by the City of Florence. The original bronze was moved to the Museum of Orsanmichele, on the first floor of the Gothic building.
