THE ‘NEW’ SAN MATTHEW BY GHIBERTI AT ORSANMICHELE

(September 2007)   On 21 September 2007 the inauguration of the Original Posthumous casting of Ferdinando Marinelli Artistic Foundry’s St. Matthew by Ghiberti was accompanied by a spectacular costume party organized by the City of Florence. The original bronze was moved to the Museum of Orsanmichele, on the first floor of the Gothic building.

MOULD ON AMMANNATI’S AT THE BARGELLO

Bartolomeo Ammannati Sculptor“, held at the Bargello Museum in 2011, the Directorate of the Museum has commissioned the Marinelli Foundry the delicate execution of the mould on the fountain “for the Great Hall of Palazzo Vecchio”, with the intention to reconstruct the missing parts.…

‘BRONZES FOR MICHELANGELO’ AT CASA BUONARROTI
